How to Relieve Rotator Cuff Pain at Night?

Patients who suffer from severe night pain should be treated in such a way as to limit inflammation within the shoulder and, in particular, within the subacromial bursa. It is likely that you will only experience this issue temporarily. After taking short-term anti-inflammatory medications, perhaps receiving an injection, and engaging in physical therapy, you would be able to sleep better again within a few weeks. Heat pads should be used carefully (do not fall asleep while they are on) whenever possible. A comfortable mattress may be able to improve sleep by relieving some of the pressure on the neck, spine, and shoulders. Shoulder pain can be alleviated long-term with physical therapy to address the rotator cuff.
